Weight Loss at a Red Light? Examine Factors Affecting Patient Progress

Presented by Katie Chapmon, MS, RD

Ever consider why weight loss seems easy for some and challenging for others? Health care professionals are invited to take a deep dive into lifestyle factors — like nutrient quality, insulin resistance, sleep and stress — that may be affecting your patients’ weight loss. During this webinar, Registered Dietitian Katie Chapmon will run through how these systems affect weight loss and will offer tips to help your patients achieve their weight loss goals.

Learning Objectives Include:

  • Discuss why obesity is a multifactorial disease
  • Describe in depth how lifestyle factors like nutrient quality, insulin resistance, stress, etc., impact the weight loss goals of your patients
  • Provide examples for addressing factors affecting weight loss items to further assist patients
