ABOUT THE SPEAKERDr. Phillip Snider teaches family medicine and osteopathic principles at VCOM. He is a board-certified as a family medicine physician and also as a bariatric (weight loss) physician. Before going to medical school and doing his residency in Phoenix, AZ, he was a registered dietitian and personal trainer where he grew up in Greensboro, NC. For the past 30 years, Dr. Snider has been teaching patients how to avoid the perils of modern-day living and take charge of their own health.
