Incorporating Medical Weight Loss into your Practice to Increase Satisfaction for you and your Patients
Presented by John Hernried, MD, FACP
As the obesity epidemic grows in scope, the medical treatment of patients with obesity is more vital than ever. Yet beyond improving patient health, quality of life, and outcomes, the benefits of adding medical obesity treatment services to a practice or hospital system are profound. By closing the loop on a referral system that allows health care professionals to consolidate the continuum of care throughout an organization, treating obesity can have a substantial impact on retention, referrals and revenue. During this 45-minute complimentary webinar, Dr. John Hernried – a leading voice in the treatment of obesity – will discuss the importance of addressing this mounting health crisis, and how the advantages of doing so – for both the patient and provider – are too significant to ignore.
Learning Objectives Include:
- Recognize the physical and mental health improvements in patients undergoing obesity treatment
- Explore ways to leverage a medical weight loss program within a practice, hospital, and/or community to impact population health
- Understand the financial benefits for practices and hospitals that offer a medical weight loss program
